This Whole Thing Started Because...
Every Monday since June 11, 2018, I’ve written my sons Sam and Max a message — a meaningful quote followed by my reflections on whatever they need that week. Courage when they’re scared. Perspective when they’re lost. Gratitude when they’re winning. Now I’m inviting you to pull up a chair and listen in.

Five Pillars
The Monday Messages
Every Monday since June 11, 2018, I’ve sent my sons a meaningful quote followed by my personal reflection on whatever they may need to hear that week. This is the heartbeat of everything I do.
A Seat at the Table
I raised my boys knowing that in our home, everyone is always invited. The kitchen is where we gather, where we cook together, where the door stays open. Pull up a chair.
Good Decisions Bring Good Consequences
My son Sam told me this was the lesson that stayed with him most. When you come to a decision, identify your priority and make sure your choices align accordingly. That way you’ll always be traveling in the direction you want to be going. It’s simple. It works.
The Brotherhood
I told my sons their whole lives: the relationship you have with your brother will be the longest relationship you’ll ever have. You should always take care of each other. You two should be best friends. And this friendship should be a top priority. Every year, I send them on what we call their “brotherly” — an annual surprise trip, just the two of them — to keep that bond unbreakable.
The Organized Life
A clear space creates a clear mind. Every three months, three piles: keep, donate, throw away. It’s how I raised them. They still make their beds.
Your Monday Message Is Waiting
Every Monday morning, I write my sons a message — a meaningful quote and my personal reflection on whatever they may need to hear that week. I’d love to share it with you, too. Sign up and it’ll land in your inbox every Monday — no spam, no selling, just something to carry with you this week.
Come Sit With Me
The Monday Message lives in your inbox.
But the rest — the stories, the kitchen, the lessons, the love — that’s where I show up every day.
